BN is super rich after a lifetime holding the reign of the government. The leaders in UMNO are now lined with at least sons or son-in-law of previous Prime Ministers, creating a way for political dynasties. All of these sons and in laws are very well to do now. How do they became such?
Unfortunately the rakyat have minds of their own and they stand by their choice right from wrong (the irony is some UMNO supporters refuse to believe; try talking to them?) This has shaken UMNO after the last General Election. BN has lost in, as many by elections and this trend is getting very critical. Their worry now is not so much on how the country should be ruled, but thinking, will the dynasty break?
UMNO is now trying hard to stay afloat even to the extent of enticing PAS on the pretext of Malay Unity. Tok Guru saw this clearly and managed to prevent the greed in human.
As for Perak, BN has done away with justice; even the two assemblymen who faced corruption charges were taken into their fold just to make up their number. When will the duo be given trial in court? The power grab was spiced with the manhandling of the Speaker, how unbecoming!
Where and what are the MACC doing for the duo promised made in a matter of days when they were still in PKR, compare again with speed they did that led to the death of Teo Beng Hock?
BN is now making use of their fund to the fullest extent. Manek Urai was their test case. A lot of fund was disbursed. A bridge was offered for the seat. Top guns came to support. But BN still lost because more rakyat are on the side of the clean government.
Ministers promised for bridge building and the rest bla, bla were baits for Manik Urai voters at this particular time and at particuar place. If this can’t be interpreteded as corrupt intent in our country’s anti-corruption law, what else is it? All sections now should be reviewed. Why don’t they say today they are building second Patronas Twin Tower in Long Pasia, if that’s good for the rakyat?
Now BN says the slim lose was their breakthrough. In the next election they will need billions to keep the government if every constituency has to be charged up. As for now PM is having a hard time to do some face saving (1 Malaysia) and also manipulating. Long forgotten folks in the rural areas are now considered for citizenship the fast track way, registration of IC… or this can be just another dubious way of strengthening their fix deposit in Sabah by increasing imported citizen.
To those you are still holding their necks, UMNO supporters resisting hard commenting in this Kadayan blog such as Rashid Awang-he may change his name again- there are as many rakyat who are living on tight budget. Extra fund will definitely be helpful. This always comes during election. That how Manek Urai is lost (by a slim margin)
I have said this before and I say this again, no one will take care of us except ourselves. I for one don’t want to be aligned to any party. I wish for a central Government that rules all and take care for our being. I yearn for a government that serves justice to all. No Politicking!

Just be present at any of the Umno branch AGMs and you will see their memberships comprising mostly family-clans numbering nor more than 7 to 10 families, and substantial number of ‘outsiders’ (multiple branch memberships) to top it up.
These bodoh families’ members will fill up the various posts available at the Cawangan, Wanita, Pemuda, Putri and Putra just to meet up AGM quorums. So you can see the Branch Chairman (in fact every family), will have their representatives to sit in Wanita, Putri and Putra committees ….. Family affairs?
What is Umno actual membership? 1.5 million at the most!

Malay Unity is just bullshit created to confuse voters.
Malays forms the majority of Malaysia. If they are suppressed and unhappy, don’t you think that riots and demonstrations will surface? How will a society progress in such situations? Malays are part of every system in the country.
Malay Unity is just an agenda to keep those Minority Rich Malays in power. This is the fact. If PAS is an organisation that is formed based on Muslim ideaology, why would they accept Umnono/BeEnd since there are so many Un-Islamic news from Unnono and BeEnd. There are those who are questioned for going overseas spending tax payers monies like nobody business, there are those that were accused of vote buying during their internal elections, there are those who abuse their authority when they are wearing uniforms and etc.
The second issue is Malays’ rights. I believe that everyone should be given equal rights. Special benefits are only for those who are incapable of living on like handicapped, mentally ill, extremely poor families and etc. The world is moving faster than ever. If Malays do not learn to catch up, how much money are wasted to maintain such welfares when it can be used to develop the country to maintain a good account balance. Unless, you want to see the country becomes a debt-ridden one.
I believe Islam and many other religions teach equality and kindness the same way and the only way. The way of life is simple but often made difficult to understand by evildoers.

My dear friend,
There is one name in Malaysian History I loathe. Mahathir. I cannot call him by his Indian name because nk who allows MT to post all kinds of crap says I am a racist. I think he is a Mahthir sympathiser.
I have repeatedly pointed out that today’s trouble started out with him. Today we are seeing the fruits of his 22year rule. This man hated the British although he studied there. He hated the Chinese and Indians because they seem to be more favored than the Malays. This was his batu loncatan. As the education “monster” he removed the usage of English( now he makes a lot of of noise about it..thereby aacknowledging his mistake). I think the were Malays forced not to learn English to stabilise his position as English being more open to information would not be an advantages position for him: for a wide reading Malay public would become aware of his moves and his original Indian background. He used his power to the maximum.
And the result of his 22 years is that we have Malays who are 22 years old ouT there completely ignorant of the fact that we are one Nation One RACE. We built this nation together. It was not built by any ONE race. The resources of this country belongs to all and not to one race. To those who work hard it is deservedly theirs. The Chinese cannot be blamed for being wealthy..they worked hard..and even at one time they carried the nation’s shit pots.( I bet some of these 22 year Mahathir kids do not know this for history has been completely falsified to the extent that they are BLUR)
Mahtir says I have many Chinese friends..oh yeH?? who are the ones??tHE ONES WHO LINE HIS POCKETS???
And you and I know that BN “monsters” have lined their pockets with our money.
Mahtir’s son has the most expensive private jet in Malaysia..check it out..whose money??? Is it from his doctor’s fees??
and we can go on..the corruption started with him and ends today with a TOYOL who can build a palace of 24 million..
If you go to the rural areas of Sabah and Sarawak and the East Coast ..Mahthir never sent them money there..it never reached the poor bumiputeras..
today we have an opposition who want to correct these things..but are thwarted by the BN because they have the money…and you know MONEY CAN BUY YOUR SOUL…
…AND I WILL KEEP REPEATING IT…Tthat an Indian PM in the guise of fighting for the Malays has sold our country to the DEVIL.

Just my 2 cents thought
Reasons UMNO having accumulated much wealth was because of the Dasar Ekonomi Baru. For as long as they tagged themselves in Bumiputera status, they can reap all the benefits as they have positioned themselves on top of the pyramid, the ‘food chain’. That’s what keep them afloat.

2) Now begin re-delineation of electoral boundaries. Sabah included.
Just the barometer to show BN is now shivering in his pants. Fowl play is in the making.

I have not heard that it is illegal and unconstitutional for the sons or son-in-law of a PM to be the future PM.I think the children of DSAI could also be the future DPM or even the son of Lim Guan Eng can become the future CM.There is nothing wrong with it if their respective parties want them and they are elected by their party members. Why are we being critical of that if we believe in true democracy. What about George Bush Junior? He is the son of the former President. So,father and son became the President of the United States. It can happen in USA without any criticisms from Pengait therefore I just don’t understand why he wants to bring it up in his own country.Again it happens in Singapore, father and son becoming PM.Whats the big deal?
I think Pengait is just trying in a hurry to seek changes and trying so hard to put flavour to Pakatan when he does not even know what how it will taste if ever they are in the government.Pengait just want changes in the govt and he expects people will swallow whatever he wrote.Tough luck.
When BN promised development to the rakyat Pengait cried foul. When Pakatan promised empty promises to the rakyat its good and acceptable. What logic is Pengait using?I just cannot take from Pengait that this govt is bad and wrong. You yourself is the fruit of a BN govt having been bred and educated under the roof of a BN govt. This opportunity that you have in writing down your thoughts also happens under the BN govt. What actually are your problems if at all you are not aligned to any political party.
With regards to poverty unfortunately it happens in all countries of the world even in the US and many other developed countries. It so happens that this is a stigma that cannot be avoided. In the US there are also homeless people and beggars. In Malaysia in fact our umemployment could be zero if only our people take full opportunities of jobs available in the country but then I also know our people would rather hang on the streets and coffee shops than picking up bricks and push trolleys.
I am not aligning Pengait to Pakatan as he had claimed he is not aligned to any political party but he too shouldn’t jump to conclusion that anyone who writes something different from him is aligned to UMNO.I am not wrong in saying that Pengait is just not writing in favour of Pakatan but fuelling hatred and anti-establishment to the minds of all readers and to a lot of extent flaming readers not to dislike but hate our govt. This is treachery and I suggest if Pengait is so bent on hating the govt he might just as well look for another country where there is perfect govt and reside there for good.In another word’go kaput’.What about good riddance?

Hi, Kenwang.
Thanks for your detail analysis of me. I’ll write more to express myself. We haven’t had this (freedom) when I was younger. The papers were at that time and still are, I presume, owned by BN. I once wrote to the local daily on the selective appointments or rather disappointments of Sabahans in the Federal Departments. It never got published.
Can’t help if my view differs from yours.
Yes, I am indebted to the USNO Government under Arwah Tun Mustapha for my education. That’s what a CM should do, educate his people. When they grow up they in turn must educate the others. He didn’t live that long to know what I had done. Nevertheless, he joined PBS when UMNO played him out.
In my view, Sabah should not have that much of poor citizen if the wealth had been fairly disbursed. Our population isn’t that much compared to USA and easily managed. We see today the large disparities between Sabah and Semenanjung even though we became independent as a nation only with a difference of 6 years. Why had this happened?
The trend in our Federal system is to squeeze the states, enrich KL and hold the states at ransom. Why can’t our Federal Government just rule everyone fairly.
If for now, I am in a way exposing to the Rakyat what a Federal Government we have, is that tantamount to treachery? Remember, exposing is baring what is hidden. Nevertheless what is there to expose, they are already opened.
It’s atypical of UMNO to say if you don’t like to live here, you go and live elsewhere. So if Sabah is left to the dogs, do you just leave this country?

I think your argument is of the ordinary and not sophisticated enough to warrant a rebuttal.I do not wish to be dragged into a lamb duck argument so the next time you write do check your facts intensely and intensively unlike now where you are just writing to fish for support and sympathies from the ignorant few who perhaps just jump to support you the moment they know you are against the govt.I know there are so many things people like you who can write against the govt and BN because of your dislike and hatred but this govt,UMNO and BN will prevail.I am not tempted into writing the faults and sins of Pakatan, just let it be.I cannot even tempt myself to call anyone animals or dogs because we are One Malaysia and in spite of political differences we are citizens of Malaysia.I do not think there is any love lost amongst Malaysians towards one another and Pengait should not try to be the preacher of hates and disunity.Propaganda has lost its virtues in this 21st century as people know how to filter down whats true and the untrue, false and lies, the good, the bad and the ugly.So just stop the nonsense and return to rearing cows in your backyard. Its a good profession for busy bodies and who knows you will be able to narrow the bridge between the rich and the poor by becoming rich yourself and if not maybe you should stop mumbling about Sabahans living on tight budget as if people in other parts of the world do not have this kind of problems.
Mr Pengait I suggest that you read and learn more on current issues and not indulge yourself on history books unless you are………..someone who just write but don’t think.Do spend some time correcting your handicap for I think Pakatan will need your expertise come the next GE.Right now its a flop flop all the way.Do I need to say more?

Dear Enchik Pangait - I do not know much about Sabah and Sarawak.
What I know for a fact is that
1: In every election, BN (and especially Umno in Sabah)seems to win all the parlimentary seats.
2: Sabah and Sarawak is the most underdeveloped states in Malaysia -despite rich resources
I just want to know this from you Sabahan and Sarawakian
1: Why your Members of Parliament is ineffective to represent Sabah and Sarawak interest
2: Why Sabahan and Sarawakian did not kicked out the ineffective Members of Parliament
Just do something
I am sick of your moaning and blaiming us West Malaysian cheating you, took advantage of you, dun understand you etc

Dear Lim Goh Tong,
I take this liberty of responding to your comments since Pengait does not have the guts to answer or maybe too naive to respond.
Sabah and Sarawak MPs are not ineffective as you think they are. They have been playing key roles in formulating policies in Parliament, that is the government MPs.They have been active in debating bills with good questions and constructive proposals and if you are a keen follower of the debates in Parliamment you would notice that it is the opposition MPs who are creating troubles and being nuisance. At the constituencies level the government MPs are doing their jobs seriously and not taking anything for granted in discharging their responsibilities. As you notice Sabah and Sarawak have advanced in many ways even much more developed than some States in West Malaysia. In Sabah for example we have one of the biggest airports in Malaysia second only to KLIA.We also have Universities in Sabah and Sarawak. Our much developed tourists attractions are the envy of some many States in Malaysia and many many more. All you have to do is visit us rather than making unwarranted remarks based on Pengait comments. The fact is Pengait writings are just too political. He disagreed everything what this government is doing as he is bent on trying to belittle all government efforts in developing the States, that is Sabah and Sarawak. What he claimed about West Malaysians stripping Sabah and Sarawak aren’t true also as I do not think West Malaysians are that sophisticated to do that now as in the level of education and thinking we are no longer behind. So don’t walk with your chest higher than the sky.I don’t think you are that smart either.
On another note it is very arrogant of you Lim Goh Tong to say that we deserved to be stripped and screwed for the last 25 years. If you are an educated lot than you should realise that Malaysia is a Federation and therefore all wealth from each State are to be distributed according to the needs of the others. For example the government has to take the wealth of maybe Sabah,Sarawak and Selangor to help perhaps Kelantan,Perlis etc and there will a time when those States will return that contributions to develop Sabah and Sarawak. This assistance is not defined as stripping and screwing.I suggest if you are not knowledgable about this to stop hurting our feelings as the rice that you eat,the car that you drive, the house that you live and the education of your children may in part due to the wealth distributions from Sabah and Sarawak attributing to your ability to find jobs due to the economic progress of Malaysia.

Who is so insane as to say that Sabah and Sarawak has few or no development since independence. What is progress? If the politican uses RM10 to build a hospital and pocket RM90 - is this progress? The truth here is - Corruption is the issue - not progress.
What I am trying to impress on all is this. Let us not look back at history - do not praise or blame others or circumstances. There is a reason why things happen as it is. We take history as a lesson and we move forward.
Since the birth of Pakatan - we now have a viable opposition who can take on BN. If you dont like what is happening in Sabah, Sarawak or any states in Malaysia - take action. Elect the right MP to serve you. You now have a CHOICE - so use it.

It seems that everybody who are writing in this blog are hobnobbing against what I wrote. To me this makes it more challenging and I am prepared for such tasks of responding and defending my beliefs.
To Musang let me be clear.I am not cari makan when I put my thoughts in writing.Yes its true I am an UMNO member but just that.I do not hold any post since registering myself as a member. At the branch level I have to sit right at the back and hear speeches made by a branch head. For many years as a member I was never proposed to hold even a committee post.Being sidelined does not sway my beliefs in UMNO for I became a member not for any monetary gains but a cause.I never attended any UMNO conventions or General Assembly in Kuala lumpur, not even once but I am still a steadfast member of the party because I believed in its cause. For your information I was never busy with all those kampung projects for I never got one and never enjoyed any monetary benefits from the party, not a cent.I am just an ordinary member for a cause and until such cause that I believed in disappeared or evaporated in thin air I will continue to be a member of UMNO.
So,Musang it is not cari makan. Also you had mentioned of Pengait having lots of friends in Sabah.I think thats immaterial and not relevant in this context for I failed to comprehend why you even mentioned it.Nonetheless if its true I am challenging all those friends of his to come out in this blog and voice their support but with facts. The facts must of course be hard enough for me to concur otherwise its just a friend supporting another friend and that is 1+1=2.
With regards to Lim Goh Tong comments my suggestion to him is not to teach ‘a duck how to swim’.We know how to vote for our representatives in State and Parliament. We do not have to follow your likes and dislikes. What are your standards of measurement? All of our YBs are educated, some reaching the highest level of PHD and what are you so unhappy about our MPs.What you wrote about no goody goody and corrupted leaders are just figments of your imaginations. You realise that you cannot make allegations without hard evidence. To cut it short can you tell me leaders from the government and oppositions who had been convicted of corruptions during the last ten years.I call on you to be brave enough to mention their names, that is leaders convicted by the court for corruptions.
I have this nasty feelings that you are just barking at the wrong tree. The oppositions in Sabah and Sarawak tried them million times but failed. If you respect the majority voices of the people then you should keep your silence unless you have good issues to bring up but not the same old issues of asking the people to change MPs,two party system and corruptions.Just fed-up because they are all empty talks. For all I know maybe you yourself is corrupted, just like ‘a pot calling the kettle black’.
My advice to Lim Goh Tong is to guard your MP in your constituency and ensure he is doing the right job.Change him if he is not and campaign hard amongst the constituents to vote against him if he does not live to his responsibilities.Stop trading beyond your boundary lines as I think you lack facts and substance to try and orientate our minds.Dont just said CHANGE and expect people said SOKONG.REFORMS and you said SOKONG!What you did in West Malaysia does nor vibrate or echoed in Sabah and Sarawak. For us the majority it is still UMNO/BN.Disappointed?Just dip your head in the toilet sink and flush!

Ahh, Sorry. I have missed this episode for sometime for the simple fact that I don’t always look at this place. I have been busy looking after my cows and planting kacang in the backyard to take on Mr Ken’s advice.
Mr Lim Goh Tong, you seem to have the knack of asking the right questions. I guess you are just pura-pura-ing to test if we are alert.
On 1)Why are your Members of Parliament ineffective to represent Sabah interests?
- simple! they are preselected not because they are good politicians, they are the angkat kaki types. (You cannot run a government which is full of noise makers). Usually they are the younger ones, hoping politics will get them the means. The senior ones are those close to the CM and they know what they must not do.
Many aspiring leaders will never make it to parliament because of the UMNO party system. Money politics is an open secret. So really most dream to become politicians because of how fast is it to make money, not because they want to become statesmen and look after people. The safest up the ladder is to remain in the good books of the CM. The CM like it this way too. If you keep quiet he knows how to keep himself busy.
Oh! Bung Mokhtar.. he was the first MP to make history for being the first to utter the obscene 4 letter words in Parliament. I remember at that time he was lobbying a project for himself but the clans in UMNO denied him. So by that magic word, the Minister concerned was forced to award his cronies a rural water project. Yes he is a popular MP now for shouting and screaming animal names in parliament against the oppositions MP. That’s what he is only good at.
If you are a rich businessman, Lim, you can be THE government too by sponsoring aspiring politicians in UMNO. It’s a good investment. Only today we read in the news that a Datuk was arrested for dealing in drugs. I was told before that most candidates for Datukships are screened by the Police and MACC, so how did this Datuk got cleared? He must have enjoyed his investments in his datukship for sometime for the access he had to the people in power.
On 2)Why Sabahan did not kick out the ineffective Members of Parliament? This is already answered in the 1st one.
Another factor is that our voters are already infested with imported citizens. At every General Elections they will come out in full force to exercise their ‘rights’. This is an open secret and many reports had been made and books had been written. But the Central Gov has a big broom to sweep them under the carpet.
Off course Sabah now enjoys the attention of the Federal Government after the last GE compared to many years ago. Najib called Sabah his Fixed Deposit! (When times are bad, withdraw). He must maintain his interest here otherwise BN will be a goner next GE.
Sabah and all the other States must enjoy to be part of Malaysia all the time. That’s what it should be. Every State in Malaysia must enjoy together with other States when we are in good times. But the practice of the BN gov is to suppress states who are in opposition. It is a crime to sideline anyone for this reason. The constitution has it that the central fund must be disbursed for the well being of all.
Today the Hon PM has a new strategy in the name of 1 Malaysia to improve the BN image and his image in particular. Yet DS Anwar is labeled a TRAITOR against the Malays for leading a Multi racial party. Where is the sincerity to call for 1 Malaysia!
